The owners of Posada de la Casa del Abad de Ampudia, are embarking on this new hotel venture also designed by the architect Ángel García Puertas. This new hotel will be pioneer in the luxury small charming hotels sector in the province of Tarragona. Situated on a 20,000 m2 with gardens and a large woodland area, the spectacular modernist building is attributed to the architect Domènech i Muntaner, author of the Palau de la Música in Barcelona among others. The rooms, two of them with private swimming pool, are distributed between the main building, the structure of which has been respected as far as possible and an annexed former farm house (masía). The hotel´s installations also include an outdoor swimming pool, spa with heated swimming pools, sauna, Turkish steam bath, beauty treatments, massage and other treatments; in addition to a gymnasium, tennis, paddle, archery, putting green and heliport. Absolute luxury!
Cuisine
Mas Passamaner has three restaurants. Kugi, located by the swiming pool, offers simple cuisine from 20 euros. Casual, with traditional honest local cuisine with modern fusion touches, from 35 euros. And The Gigantea, single-table restaurant for 8 guests and tasting author menus of eight dishes with a selection of special wines, by Joaquin Koerper, chef with five Michelin stars to his credit.
