This hotel lies in the heart of the Hoces del Duratón Natural Park. Within its thick stone walls there are large noble wooden structures, old wooden beams, columns and wrought iron features all duly restored. The distribution of the guest rooms has respected the original layout of the house and they have been all been decorated by José Tovar. Worthy of mention is the combination of the earthenware floor and marble, the restored tiles, the banisters made out cart wheels and the brickwork. The décor combines the flavour of times past using antique furniture and abstract paintings, lamps with a more contemporary look and bright colours on the walls. Some of the bedheads are very special, for example a piece of the panelling from the Juan Bravo Theatre in Segovia, aged and embellished with a coat of gold. The new rooms have included a jacuzzi in the bathroom and marble wash basins and the room is decorated with curious objects such as the collection of suitcases and old telephones that apart from their decorative role also in the case of the telephones still work. There are two sitting rooms with fireplace that invite guests to relax and read.

Posada del Duratón restaurant and carvery. Traditional dishes with specialities such as young lamb and cod. Good wine list. Lunches and evening meals from 20€.

At the edge of the Las Hoces del Río Duratón Natural Park: trekking, horse-riding, cycling, four wheel drive routes, trekking, hot air ballooning. Observation of cultures, kites, eagles and falcons. Peaks of Somosierra, Peña Casla and Colgadizos. Visit Segovia, Sepúlveda and Carrascal del Río.
