This 18th century mountain “casona”, or large home, near the Collados del Asón Natural Preserve, has been completely restored with character, comfort and elegance. Nuria and José, antique dealers by trade, have converted it into a small hotel in which no detail for the benefit and comfort of guests has been spared. Each room is distinct from the rest, decorated in light tones which complement the eye-pleasing collection of Provencal furniture and splendid antiques within. TV, DVD player, telephones, and hydromassage (in special rooms), Egyptian cotton bed linen and bathrooms supplied with natural cosmetics. The dining room and surrounding countryside become one, thanks to large plate-glass windows. A large living room beckons with its warm fireplace, game tables, and bar area. At night, the candle-lit garden invites guests to sit back and enjoy a relaxing evening. The hotel offers a variety of cushions, along with a wide selection of DVD players. An interesting collection of antique sketches adorns the walls of the entire building.
Cuisine
The hotel restaurant is the perfect place to delight in the local gastronomy as well as international cuisine—both of which are meticulously prepared. Lunches and evening meals cost approximately €26.

Free guided tours over the Natural Park Collados del Asón. Covalanas Cave, a world heritage site, with cave paintings, just 17 km away. Beaches of Laredo and Noja, and the Natural Park of the Marismas de Santoña. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is just an hour away.
